At 12 years old, Paul Smith started out as what he calls, “an independent contractor with my own media distribution business,” better known as a paperboy. Today, he is a seasoned and talented strategist, advisor and consultant with extensive experience developing and managing multi-channel marketing communications plans. An expert at promoting and enhancing reputation and brand, he is highly skilled in public relations, media relations, digital media and marketing — with broad-based experience in diverse sectors including healthcare, technology, government, financial services and nonprofits.

Paul has a strong external focus and significant expertise building strategic relationships with a wide range of constituencies, influencers and stakeholders including C-suite executives, government officials, civic leaders, key accounts and members of the media. He has worked on successful national sales and marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and planned and directed award-winning public relations projects and events.

Skilled at the art of persuading, selling and motivating through strategic messaging, Paul has produced high-level presentations, speeches and key messages for CEOs, politicians and corporate executives as well as consulting on multiple political campaigns. And after many years in the media business, he’s graduated from delivering newspapers to his neighbors to delivering results to his clients.
